Micah Scholars Program
The Micah Scholars Program is a faith-based leadership and service initiative for Prehealth students at Baylor University. Rooted in Micah 6:8, the program equips students to explore the intersection of faith and healthcare through weekly chapel discussions, mentorship with Christian physicians, and service in the Waco community.
Scholars receive mentorship from physicians connected with Christian Community Health Fellowship (CCHF) and Waco Family Medicine, offering insight into faith-integrated medical practice and compassionate care for underserved populations.
Micah Scholars lead small groups in the Prehealth Chapel, plan campus-wide Faith in Medicine events, and engage peers in meaningful conversations about how their beliefs shape their future in medicine. Through service, reflection, and fellowship, Micah Scholars foster spiritual growth and Christ-centered leadership as they prepare for careers in healthcare.
