Baylor University Pre-Medical Practicum Program (BU-MPP)
Description
The BU-MPP Program is designed to connect highly motivated pre-medical students to shadowing opportunities around Waco in specialties including gastroenterology, allergy medicine, oncology, hospital medicine, etc. Students are placed in a 1-credit hour PHP course to facilitate their shadowing experiences.
- Our goal is to provide our students with invaluable shadowing experiences while offering physicians the chance to engage with the next generation of healthcare leaders. By the end of the semester, we hope that students will earn approximately 40 shadowing hours! The idea is that it will generate the bump you need for your medical school applications.
