Hallie Earle Scholars
The Hallie Earle Scholars are a prestigious group of first-generation prehealth students. Through being Hallie Earle Scholars, students are brought into a community of students, faculty, and staff that will help them find success, celebrate their success, and empower each other through the journey to professional school.
Scholarship
Students selected to be in our scholar program will be awarded an annual scholarship beginning their sophomore year. The average scholarship amount is $3,000, but the actual award amount will depend on students’ financial aid package.

Professional Workshops to prepare you for professional school.
Students will work closely with the co-directors of the program, Prehealth Academic Advisor Mindy Calvillo and Program Director Michelle Diaz.
To Qualify
Apply by the deadline.
Be classified as a first-generation college student by Baylor University.
Students will be required to remain prehealth (pre-medical, pre-dental, pre-physician assistant, pre-optometry, pre-physical therapy, pre-occupational therapy, pre-veterinary medicine, pre-pharmacy).
Qualify for a prehealth designator.
Students must maintain a 3.2 GPA.
Applications to the Hallie Earle Scholars are due June 1st on a rolling basis. The selection process for the 2024-2025 Scholars has been completed. Any applications received after this point will be placed on a waitlist.
