Pre-Occupational Therapy
Our Pre-Occupational Therapy Program is designed for those students who desire to attend health profession graduate school upon undergraduate degree completion. We offer several services in order to prepare students for the often rigorous journey in becoming an occupational therapist, including:
Pre-Occupational Therapy students are encouraged to select a major in which they feel they will excel. Pre-OT students can choose a major in either the science or nonscience disciplines. Regardless of major chosen, preOT students will still need to complete the required courses for our preoccupational therapy program in addition to the courses needed for their major degree plan.

Baylor University’s Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) programs integrate innovative technologies and hybrid learning strategies to prepare practice scholars, educational innovators, and professional leaders who utilize clinically meaningful research in the implementation of best practice and meet the changing demands of the Occupational Therapy profession. All Prehealth students are encouraged to explore our many Prehalth student organizations, but Predentistry students may be interested in joining Student Physical and Occupational Therapy Association (SPOTA).
